We approach every project with a client-centered mindset. That means we lead with consultative questions before applying our expertise. We are pragmatic, sustainable, people-oriented, and committed to great design.
Working with Natural Space Design, you’ll discover:
Natural Space Design leads with the best practices of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Plan of Work. Our structure approach gets you through the planning, design and building process without hassle or undue delay.
The process commences with an initial consultation (on site or online) where our expert designer will listen, question and gain insight into the scope, vision and aspirations of the project along with understanding the initial budget and project timelines.
After stage 0 our designer will develop a detailed brief, which forms the foundation for the project. This brief will define roles and responsibilities, feasibility, and a programme for estimated completion. Preparation focuses on analysing and assessing each spatial, structural and architectural arrangement option before developing outline concepts and early visuals to highlight your sustainable goals.
This stage focuses on developing the concept in greater detail, understanding procurement routes, structural and servicing requirements, spatial zoning and circulation diagrams along with mood boards and sample boards. The brief and programme are reviewed to ensure your needs are addressed.
Our designer will produce fully detailed architectural and interior design drawings and specifications for your project. We liaise with planning authorities if required.
We prepare a coordinated, detailed technical construction drawing pack which can be passed to your contractor and their supply chain for tender.
This stage moves to the site where progress of the project is monitored to maintain quality, budget and programme.
In this stage, the space is handed over to you. We conclude and sign off your project; providing a complete handover pack including specification details, on products, fixtures, and fittings, operational and maintenance guides with statutory information, manufacturer warranties and maintenance frequencies.
The last stage is client aftercare, we support you in the event that a problem arises and are on-hand to resolve any defective items after you have occupied the space.
